Case Study - 2 Storey Classrooms, North London
Located in North London, this 6 bay, 2 storey, prefabricated classroom building was commissioned by the Local Authority to provide temporary facilities whilst the existing school was being refurbished. Access to the first floor of this modular building is provided by way of an internal timber staircase with each level having a 60 sq. m classroom, toilets and store. Externally, the walls are finished with an easily maintainable and hardwearing plastisol steel, internally, the walls and ceilings are finished with vinyl faced plasterboard. The floors within the toilets and stores are finished with anti-slip vinyl whilst the classrooms are finished with heavy duty carpet tiles. Upon completion of the existing school refurbishment, this temporary building can be easily relocated to another site. Good value and practical solutions to help improve the Nations schools!
