Commercial - 2 Storey Jackleg Site Office/Welfare
Located in Cambridge and comissioned by a Quarry Excavation Company, these purpose built double-stacked jackleg cabins now provide much needed, additional site office accommodation, toilets, first aid room and welfare facilities on this busy industrial site. These jackleg site cabins provide a total floor area of 90 sq. m and incorporate 1 No. weighbridge office, 1 No. supervisors office, 1 No. drying room, 1 No. first aid room and 3 No. toilets as well as a fully equipped kitchen and canteen area. Each jackleg unit measures 12.00x3.75 m and the units are double-stacked to form a two storey complex designed to maximise the available space on site. Access to the first floor is by way of a robust steel staircase. Both of these site jackleg units are fully Building Regulation compliant. Internally, the walls and ceilings are finished in easy to maintain vinyl faced plasterboard whilst the floors are finished in 2mm Polysafe standard vinyl. Each building is fitted with a heat and cool air conditioning system to maintain the facility at a constant temperature. Externally, the walls and fascia of these jackleg buildings are finished in low maintenance plastisol steel - the colour being of the clients choice. The roofs are constructed with mono-pitch flat roofing systems and covered with hard wearing 'Hypalon' blankets c/w square section uPVC rainwater goods. These double-stacked jackleg units are an ideal solution to provide maximum additional space when floor space is at a premium. These buildings were delivered, installed and commissioned on site within one day thereby keeping disruption to the client to a minimum. The lifting operation was performed by a lorry mounted crane.
