Leisure - Community Sports Changing Rooms, Redcar
Located in Redcar and commissioned by a Local Authority, this new, bespoke, Modular Building Complex (consisting of 4 No. individually prefabricated modular bays) now provides a much needed 'Changing Facility' (140 sq. m) for players and officials on the edge of a busy community playing field. The design of this Prefabricated Building provides six separate player's changing rooms, two referee changing rooms, a large communal shower area, player's toilets and a plant room. Fully compliant disabled toilets and showers are also provided within the referee changing rooms. Externally, the walls are finished with easily maintainable plastisol steel whilst the roof is constructed with a back-to-back mono-pitch flat roof c/w Kingspan lightweight profiled steel roofing system. All of the doors are constructed of galvanised steel and have security locking mechanisms. For additional security, electrically operated steel roller shutters were provided along with an independent fire and intruder alarm system. Internally, the walls and ceilings are finished with vinyl faced plasterboard whilst the internal doors are all of a solid core timber type c/w closers and seals. The floors are finished in hard wearing anti-slip vinyl and the heating/hot water is provided by way of a gas fired condensing boiler system. Helping the community to keep fit in comfort...
