Commissioned by a Local Authority and annexed to a Primary School, this single storey, Prefabricated Building now provides a fully equipped 'Autism Unit' for junior children within the Bedford area. Externally, this Modular Building is clad with 'brick slips' to match the existing schools brickwork. The building has a site-applied 27 degree pitched roof finished in a Britmet roofing tile system. Internally, the building is partitioned to accommodate the preferred layout and comprises of a 67 sq. m teaching area, a sensory room, quiet room, office and toiletry requirements. The sensory room and quiet room are both fitted with padded walls complying with ASD requirements. A heat/cool air conditioning system keeps the various rooms at a constant temperature - the building is also fully equipped with IT, fire and intruder alarms.
