Managed by a multi-disciplinary Property and Construction Consultancy - this 17 No. bay ‘modular building’ provides a six classroom facility at a school in Luton. This single storey prefabricated building has a gross floor area of 489 sq. metres and incorporates 6 No. classroom areas (each providing circa 56 sq. metres of teaching space), 1 No. disabled/staff WC, 7 No. pupil WC’s, 1 No. office, 1 No. IT/server room, 1 No. plant room and 1 No. cleaners store. Heating is provided throughout by way of building regulation compliant air conditioning c/w heat recovery system. A BB93 compliant suspended ceiling system is provided throughout at 2.40m above f.f.l. c/w flush/integrated lighting. Externally, the walls are finished in a combination of Ivory coloured low maintenance plastisol steel & horizontal western red cedar cladding. The back-to-back mono-pitch roof is covered with a hard wearing “Fatra Ekoplan” membrane and falls towards the white uPVC guttering and rainwater goods which in turn, match the double glazed white uPVC windows.
