Case Study - Double Classroom Building, North London

Installing an additional two classroom modular building at a Foundation School in North London presented its own challenges this summer. The only available space was in between an existing building and a row of very mature trees. A little bit tight but nothing we couldn't handle with the aid of a 100 ton crane. This 4 bay prefabricated building (100 sq. m) was manufactured at our factory in Yorkshire and was designed to provide 2 No. 40 sq. m classrooms, 1 No. disabled toilet/shower and 1 No. entrance lobby. The floor throughout was finished in non-slip vinyl and the classrooms were provided with a hot/cold air conditioning system. Externally, the walls of this modular building were clad in hard wearing and easily maintainable plastisol steel. The two tone green colour was chosen to blend in with the surroundings. We just love a challenge and a happy client!
