Education - Modular Classrooms, Newcastle
Located in Newcastle and commissioned by a Local Authority, this purpose built Modular Building complex consists of 8 No. individually prefabricated bays and provides a much needed addition to the schools mathematics department (288 sq. m). The design of this prefabricated building provides 4 No. large classrooms, a stationery store and corridor. Externally, the walls are finished in a low maintenance plastisol steel whilst the roof is constructed with our standard duo-pitched roofing system and covered with a hard wearing 'Hypalon' blanket. A heat/cool air conditioning system keeps the whole building at a constant temperature throughout the seasons. Internally, the walls and ceilings are covered with vinyl faced plasterboard and the internal doors are all of a solid core timber construction with overhead door closers and seals. A suspended ceiling system incorporating Cat II lighting is provided throughout whilst the floor coverings consist of heavy duty contract carpet tiles (to the clients choice of colour).
